Leading the design evolution of a peer-to-peer fashion rental app
As the primary designer for LOANHOOD over two years, I shaped their fashion rental app that enables users to both loan and borrow clothing. Building upon inherited designs, I defined user flows and established a comprehensive design system. I drove iterative improvements based on user research and business priorities. I tackled complex design challenges including dual user journeys and complex transaction mechanisms, while ensuring the app delivered on its mission to promote sustainable fashion.
User journey mapping
I led the development of LOANHOOD's core rental flow, mapping complex user journeys for both loaners and borrowers. This deep analysis identified critical user touchpoints, notification triggers, and system requirements. The resulting framework informed user stories, interface design, and technical architecture decisions.
Design system
I evolved LOANHOOD's design from its foundation into a bold, scalable system. Incorporating user feedback, stakeholder insights, and industry best practices.
