LOANHOOD
LOANHOOD is a fashion rental app fighting against fast fashion, offering an alternative by allowing users to rent clothes to and from each other, so instead of buying an outfit for a special occasion or night out, to then rarely wear it again, you can rent an outfit instead.
We worked on this app for almost 2 years, initially building on the designs we inherited, defining the UX, user flows and design system. Then over time, targeting specific areas of the app and making improvements based on user research and business priorities.
It was a great opportunity to learn more about native app design and overcoming challenges throughout the process, such as the understanding complex user journeys for two distinct user types, building out a large design system and developing an intricate payment flow integrating with Stripe.
